When I cook, I never measure or weigh anything. I cook by vibration. I can tell by the look and smell of it. Different strokes for different folks. Do your thing your way.

TASTE. ADJUST. REPEAT.

I fully recognize that I am a white girl from suburban St. Louis. The food that I cook, study, and that inspires me does not represent my culture. I am here as a forever student of global, Peasant Cuisine — the food of those who work the land and live in unison with it. If you feel I have misrepresented or appropriated a dish, ingredient, or culture please let me know. My goal is to use Peasant Cuisine as a north star for delicious, sustainable home cooking — to free us from recipes and to cook with the seasons.

10% of all profits this quarter will be donated to Soul Fire Farm as they continue to grow a space for farmer training and food sovereignty programming.
